- Isak committed to BVB
When Alexander Isak went out on loan to Wilhelm II this season, I thought that would probably be the last we see him as a member of BVB. He had trouble breaking into our firs team since we picked him up and he had even struggled with our second team. Since joining Wilhelm, Isak has actually made a name for himself in the Netherlands. In about 1200 minutes he has 12 goals and 4 assists in the Eredivisie. This stretch has earned him interest from all over Europe, most recently being connected to EPL giant Chelsea. In an interview with Expressen Alexander Isak has expressed his want to make it back to BVB and make the first team. He stated ““I believe in [making my breakthrough] at Dortmund,” as well as saying that he has been told by the BVB front office they are impressed with his progress. Having another striker who’s style is different then Paco and Gotze will greatly benefit BVB.
- UCL Excitement
I’m sure we all saw the Champiosn league game yesterday. BVB Legend Jurgen Klopp took Liverpool past Barcelona being down 3-0 in aggregate to start the match. Now Good ol’ Klopp is in the Champions League Final. This will be his third Champions league final and as I’m sure we are all aware, he has yet to win. Good luck Klopp! Another fun fact about Barca being eliminated, this is the first European final without Madrid, Barca, or Bayern since 2007-2008 when Manchester United played Chelsea. Fun times!
Daily Buzz: Should BVB be happy with Paco/Isak/Gotze as our options for Forward, or should we invest in buying someone else?
