Official:Borussia Dortmund sign Julian Brandt

After already announcing one signing today, Zorc apparently decided the hype machine needed more fuel. BVB have now officially announced he signing of Julian Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 23 year old winger joins us for a currently reported 25 million Euro release clause. The contract length is reported at 5 years. Last season Brandt scored 10 goals and had 17 assists in all competitions for Bayern Leverkusen. This is another great piece of business from BVB. If you told me before he transfer season we got all three of Nico, Thorgan and Julian I’d be happy enough with that. Considering all three are done in less then a week from our final game of the year and we still have whole summer ahead of us, this is some great stuff from BVB. Brandt will be a great addition to the team and will hopefully be a part of a new BVB core for years to come.
