Zorc and Co. certainly aren’t holding back or waiting for anything this transfer season. After officially announcing the signing of Nico Schulz from Hoffenheim on Tuesday, today we have another signing to announce. BVB have signed Borussia Monchengladbach’s Thorgan Hazard on a 5 year contract. The transfer fee will not be officially announced but reports have it at around 25.5 million Euros.

Hazard is clearly a replacement and upgrade for the departing Christian Pulisic. That’s some good business if the transfer fee is less the half what we were paid for the American. Thorgan may not be as well known as his brother Eden, but he has put together a very good record at BMG, amassing 13 goals and 12 assists last year in all competitions. Thorgan will probably be a guaranteed starter for BVB even with all of the other signings in the works. Welcome to the team Thorgan!
