Michale Zorc praised Schulz’ abilities and how he can help Dortmund get better.
“Nico Schulz is a defensive player who has made another leap in performance over the past few years and, like the German national football team, we will benefit greatly from his physical abilities, his pace and his extreme dynamism, a player like him with his fighting spirit will help every team with his greed for success.“
Indeed Dortmund will possibly have the fastest fullback duo in the league with Schulz and Hakimi, Schulz has been the fastest player in the Bundesliga for few years in a row now.
This past season Schulz played 37 games for Hoffenheim across all competitions scoring 2 goals and adding 9 assists although Hoffenheim’s woeful finishing prevented him from even more assists.
During his career Schulz already played for Hertha BSC Berlin and Borussia Mönchengladbach where he played fro Lucien Favre. He has also become Germany’s starting left back and has already scored twice in 6 games for the national team.
Welcome to Dortmund Nico Schulz!
