  • Moukoko becomes a Nike Athlete

Maybe the hype player to ever rise through Dortmund’s system Youssoufa Moukoko is already well underway to being a star. 14 year old Moukoko has reportedly signed a deal with Nike worth 10 million Euros. According to reports this deal is guaranteed and is based upon Youssoufa making the Dortmund team in two years when he is eligible to play in the Bundesliga. With Europe's top teams already trying to scout him away, maybe the promise of this money outside club football will make him feel less inclined to leave Dortmund. I do worry this is a lot of pressure to put on a 14 year old, but since he has been crushing the u-17 league since he was 12 I think he will be fine.

  • Gladbach to bring on Marco Rose as manager this summer

The other Borussia is already making big moves for the summer. Gladbach has confirmed that the current RedBull Salzburg manager will join the team this summer after they declined to extend current manager Dieter Hecking. Rose has been fantastic at Salzburg, both developing new talent and dominating the league. This will will put more pressure on us to improve this summer as our rivals are so far making the right moves.
