Welp
International play seems to always result in a BVB player being injured at inopportune times. During the US vs Chile friendly on Tuesday Christian Pulisic went off injured. At the time there was no info about his injury beyond a right quad issue. Jeff Carilsle of ESPN reports that this injury will sideline Pulisic for 3-4 weeks.
Source with knowledge of the situation tells me that the initial prognosis on Christian Pulisic’s quad injury is that he’ll be sidelined for 3-4 weeks. #usmnt

While Christian has been mostly off this year, losing him will be rough for the squad. Dortmund doesn’t need to be any thinner in depth then it already is. Pulisic will most likely miss Wolfsburg, Bayern, Mainz and Freiburg and will probably be questionable for the Revierderby.
Pulisic has 5 goals and 5 assists in all comps so far this year and has played exactly 1400 minutes. Pulisic has spent a decent amount of the season dealing with muscle problems, missing 7 total games due to various issues. Hopefully he can comeback as soon as possible and finish his time at BVB helping us win the league.
