For once the international break actually came at the right time for Borussia Dortmund. Just one week ago it looked like the black and yellows would have to go into the duel with Bayern Munich without some of their best players. Luckily Mario Götze, Paco Alcacer and Axel Witsel have returned to the pitch although both Alcacer and Witsel are still doing individual programs. They might not be back when BVB face VfL Wolfsburg on March 3rd but it looks for Der Klassiker one week later.

Borussia Dortmund’s search for a left back is heating up and there seem to be two top targets for the position. FC Augsburg’s Philipp Max is still rumored to be the number one choice for BVB but according to WAZ Ricardo Rodriguez from AC Milan is also an option. Dortmund have already contacted the 26-year-old and he would not be opposed to a return to the Bundesliga. A problem could be that AC Milan are not interested in selling him and the Swiss international still has a contract until 2021.
