  • BVB extends deal with PUMA (BVB.de)

Borussia Dortmund have extended their deal with Puma until 2028. The new deal will start on the 1st of July 2020 and will bring the black and yellows 250€ million which is about 30€ million per season, 20€ million per season more than the current deal.

Hans-Joachim Watzke commented on the new deal:

“For a long time now, PUMA has not only been the supplier and sponsor of BVB, but also a significant shareholder of our club, demonstrating the tremendous identification of PUMA and its employees around the world. Our partnership has grown and goes well beyond a normal business relationship. We want to add another chapter to our common success story in the coming years.”

  • Delaney out until next year

Thomas Delaney suffered an ankle injury during the international break and will be out until January. The midfielder was a regular starter for Lucien Favre who will have to improvise without Delaney. A Witsel-Weigl double pivot seems likely but Dahoud might also get an opportunity to break into the starting eleven now.
