- Delaney out until next year
Thomas Delaney suffered an ankle injury during the international break and will be out until January. The midfielder was a regular starter for Lucien Favre who will have to improvise without Delaney. A Witsel-Weigl double pivot seems likely but Dahoud might also get an opportunity to break into the starting eleven now.
Thomas Delaney tore ligaments in his right ankle and will be available again in January.
