- International break
12 BVB-players are on duty for their national teams in the upcoming international break. The highlight among those games might be Germany hosting Argentina - with Marco Reus and Julian Brandt - which will be tomorrow in Dortmund.
Mats Hummels, who probably should still play for the German national team, keeps being ignored by Joachim Löw. Despite Germany’s current injury problems at centerback Hummels won’t get a chance, Antonio Rüdiger and Matthias Ginter as well as Thilo Kehrer who can play there are out for the upcoming games. Löw instead opted to nominate Robin Koch from SC Freiburg.

- Piszczek out for two weeks
Lukasz Piszczek had to be subbed early in Borussia Dortmund’s 2:2 draw against SC Freiburg. The club has announced that the right back will need two weeks to recover but thanks to the international break Piszczek might actually be ready for BVB’s next game on October 19th against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Daily Buzz: Should Mats Hummels still play for Germany or is Löw’s decision to rely on younger players the right one?
