Finally some good news concerning BVB. Dortmund have announced a new contract with Portuguese fullback/midfielder Raphael Guerrerio that keeps him with the club until 2023. This comes after a summer of speculation that Raph would leave the club if a contact agreement wasn’t reached. Its good to see BVB making a smart choice keeping one of the most versatile players on the payroll. Now we just need Favre to trust him even when the team is healthy.

Raph joined the team in 2016 and has been a big part of the team since. Under Tuchel he played a larger rotation of positions then he has under Bosz/Stoger/Favre who have all chosen to use him primarily as a FB. At 25 years old we now have Raph on the books for the prime of his career. Despite trouble with injury over the years Raph has always been a quality Swiss army knife for BVB, playing wherever he’s needed.
Were happy your sticking around Raph!
