- Schulz back in training
Nico Schulz is finally back in training for Borussia Dortmund. The left back had picked up an injury during the last international break while he was with the German national team and had missed every game since then. His return gives Lucien Favre another dynamic option at the fullback position.

Hans-Joachim Watzke’s biography titled “Echte Liebe” has been officially revealed and Jürgen Klopp was a special guest for the presentation.
There is technically nothing wrong with the presentation or Klopp’s presence in itself but the timing is somewhat questionable. Lucien Favre is on the hot seat after a disappointing start of the season and Watzke’s comments during the presentation and some revelations in the book are unfortunate at this time. For example the book reveals that Watzke called Klopp in 2017 to ask him if he would like to return to the club:
“We were faced with the question of what we do, and I thought, ‘If Jürgen says in four weeks we did not ask him, then you can shut down the store immediately.”
Watzke’s nostalgia regarding the Klopp-years might hurt the club. Watzke and Zorc haven’t had the biggest success when it comes to the choices of their coaches and if Favre is not able to turn this around it might turn into a bigger topic a few weeks from now.
