- Deadline day!
Today is the last day that teams in the Bundesliga, EPL, La Liga, Ligue 1 and Seria A can transfer players eligible to play the rest of the season. The only BVB player that’s expected to move today is Shinji Kagawa, According to Hannover manager Horst Heldt, BVB has made deals with both Bestikas and Hannover for Shinji’s transfer. It will be up to Shinji whether he wants to to stay in the Bundesliga or move to Turkey.

It’s great that BVB negotiated multiple deals for Shinji, especially since it looked like a deal was already done yesterday with Monaco. While Shinji doesn't have a spot on the team, he is still a great player and will be remembered most for his two stints in Dortmund. Personally Shinji was my first favorite BVB player and I will miss seeing him in black and yellow. Good luck Shinji!
With Shinji leaving that makes four BVB first team quality players that have left this window. Sebastian Rode, Alexander Isak and Dzenis Burnic all also were loaned. Burnic is the most recent of those deals being loaned to Dynamo Dresden officially this morning. Christian Pulisic was transferred to Chelsea but will remain in black and yellow until the summer.
