We’re entering the last two days of the transfer period before it ends tomorrow and rumors are flying:
Shinji Kagawa has not been able to break into the rotation under Lucien Favre and as sad as it might be but a move to another club might be best for the fan favorite and it looks like it could happen soon. According to SkySports the Japanese international will be loaned to AS Monaco until the end of the season and the French club also has an option to buy the 29-year old.
Julian Weigl asked Dortmund for permission to leave the club during the transfer period and join former BVB-coach Thomas Tuchel in Paris.
“When Paris showed interest in me before the second half of the season, I naturally thought about my future. I wanted to improve my athletic situation. And that I can work well under Thomas Tuchel is no secret. I shared my thoughts with the BVB officials. “
However Weigl is not depressed that he was denied permission to leave and looks forward to play the rest of the season with the black and yellows.
“I had to accept that those responsible do not want to give me up. Now my full concentration is to be successful with BVB. Currently I feel much better than in the first round. “
Tobias Raschl has already been called up by BVB’s first team to participate in the winter training camp and the friendlies and left a good impression. Now the club has to battle against other Bundesliga clubs for Raschl’s signature.
The defensive midfielder is considered one of Germany’s biggest talents at the position and his contract is expiring at the end of the season. BVB will do everything to get Raschl to sign an extension but clubs like Bayern Munich, Leverkusen and Gladbach are also interested.
It would be important for Dortmund to keep Raschl around, he’s a promising young player who could one day take over for Axel Witsel in midfield.
- BVB making an offer for Ziyech?

This would be quite surprising because there is no need for a player like Ziyech right now, BVB have enough depth at winger and still have Reus, Philipp and Götze who can play the “10” position. However it is a recurring rumor that we’ve seen in the last few weeks. A move still seems unlikely.
