- Alcacer and Bruun Larsen not seriously injured
Jacob Bruun Larsen was subbed off in Friday’s game because of an injury and Paco Alcacer had problems with his thigh after the 3:1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt. However Dortmund confirmed that both aren’t seriously injured and will be available again soon.
Bruun Larsen will participate in practice again and Alcacer is day-to-day. Nevertheless Alcacer has not joined the team for their trip to Brugge, he will not play in BVB’s first Champions League game as well as Thomas Delaney who is missing the game with minor injury concerns. Christian Pulisic on the other hand has traveled with the team and could play.

- Götze discussion continues
Mario Götze has spent 90 minutes on the bench for the third Bundesliga game in a row, a fact that has the German media and pundits discussing his future in Dortmund. Lothar Matthäus has now stated that Götze should think about leaving BVB.
Hans-Joachim Watzke has defended Götze in an interview with WAZ saying “Mario is doing everything right now: He trains well, [...], he is totally focused. He’s an important part of our team and I’m sure he’ll play well for Dortmund this season”.
#Watzke defends @MarioGoetze: "I know that @LMatthaeus10, who earns his money as an expert, has to make provocative theses. But it would be nice if, as one of the greatest players Germany has ever had, he would leave Mario alone and not trample on him...“ https://t.co/xVSjmCr6aN
