According to a report from Sport Bild FIFA is finally reacting to the trend of “loan-armys”. Recently clubs like Chelsea signed multiple players only to loan them to other clubs, currently the Premier League club has 40 players on loan. Other clubs like Juventus or AS Monaco also have similar transfer strategies. In the future FIFA will look to limit the number of players a club can loan out to 8 players. However there will still be an exception for players that are under 21 and have come through the clubs academy.

Borussia Dortmund have only two players on loan, André Schürrle (Fulham) and Felix Passlack (Norwich).

An interesting piece from Goal.com on Jadon Sancho who is touted as one of England’s biggest talents.

  • Weigl never wanted to leave

All summer long there were rumors about Julian Weigl possibly leaving BVB and teaming up with ex-BVB coach Thomas Tuchel in Paris. However Julian Weigl never intended to leave which he confirmed to Sport Bild.

Christian Pulisic did not join the USMNT during this international break after he missed the game against Hannover 96 due to muscular problems. The young American is recovering but it looks like he will miss Friday’s game against Eintracht Frankfurt as well. During yesterday’s pre-game press conference Favre said “Christian Pulisic is making improvements in his recovery, but Friday will probably come too soon for him”.

Daily Buzz: Pulisic is out, luckily for BVB they have enough depth at winger. Assuming both Marco Reus and Paco Alcacer will start, who should play alongside them? Philipp, Bruun Larsen, Sancho or Wolf?
