Julian Weigl has problems with his adductor at the end of last season and unfortunately those problems are still there. According to Bild the midfielder will miss the start of Dortmund’s pre-season program and might even be out for a prolonged period of time. Zorc confirmed that he’ll train individually for now.

In addition L’Equipe report that Thomas Tuchel is interested to bring Weigl to PSG. However N’golo Kanté is still the first choice for the French club and Weigl would only be their target if they can’t get the French international.

  • Beste to leave Dortmund (Bild)

Jan-Niklas Beste is about to leave Borussia Dortmund. The 20-year-old left back was linked to HSV and is now a target for Werder Bremen. According to Bild Beste and his agent were in Bremen to meet with the Northern German club. His current contract with Dortmund runs until 2019.

  • Galatasaray interested in Toprak and Sahin (

A Turkish outlet claims Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim is interested in both Ömer Toprak and Nuri Sahin. Terim knows both players from their time together with the Turkish national team. It’s unlikely that BVB would let Toprak leave but might be interested to hear offers for Sahin.

According to Sport Bild three Bundesliga clubs, Dortmund, Leipzig and Bayern, are battling for Benjamin Pavard, the centerback from VfB Stuttgart. The French international will not be allowed to leave this summer which Stuttgart has already made clear but Pavard has a 35€ million release clause in his contract for next summer which makes him relatively cheap in today’s market. Dortmund will face an uphill battle for him especially considering that several teams will probably join the list of interested clubs.
