- Witsel Time
According to RTBF Axel Witsel will have his medical in Dortmund today as he prepares to transfer to the club. Witsel has played in China since January 2017 for Tianjin Quanjian. While the Chinese league isn’t considered a top league, Witsel still seems to have his stuff as he played very well during the past World Cup. Its his performance in the last WC for Belgium that probably made Zorc and Watzke consider bringing the 28 year old Belgian over. Hopefully we get him on a cheap deal! We’ll have a post up once he is announced with more detail.
There are some reports that Witsel to Dortmund isn’t that close
Wait and see. Some denials over Axel Witsel’s medical at Dortmund today. German club are pushing for a move, but Tianjin haven’t give the green light so far. Witsel keen to join Dortmund though.

There is no doubt a club from China can probably offer better wages then we can. And I doubt they need the transfer money either. If Tianjin are holding up the move, Dortmund may have no leverage to secure Witsel.
- Public Training in Brackel
Almost the whole squad is back for training as they held a public practice today in Brackel

The team is spending just a bit of time in Germany as they are set to go to their Austrian training ground on Wednesday. Hopefully we get to see more of how Farve plans to organize the team.
Daily Buzz: What formation do you think will work best for BVB, as it is, under Farve?
