Dortmund are going on an American tour this week! After their first visit to play LAFC in May, Dortmund are back in the states this week from 7/18 to 7/25. Dortmund will be playing three friendlies in the Intentional Champions Cup. The ICC is not a real tourney but instead a great way for Europe’s best to visit their large fan-bases around the world. This is the second time BVB has participated in the ICC, playing against Bayern and Manchester City in China last summer.

Dortmunds three games are:

Manchester City vs BVB

Soldiers Field, Chicago July 20th 9:05 PM EST.

Liverpool VS BVB

Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte July 22nd 4:05 pm EST

BVB vs Benfica

Heinz Field, Pittsburgh July 25th 8:05 PM EST

In addition to the games there will also be open training sessions in each city before or after the games.

If you are in CHicago on the 18th and have the free time BVB are inviting fans to welcome the square and O’Hare Airport

As for players joining Dortmund on the trip expect everyone who did not play in the world cup to be in the squad for practice and the games. Pulisic will definitely be playing. Reus, Piz and new loanee Achraf Hakini will be linking up with the team during the tour, but it is doubtful they will play.
