- Seri joins Fulham
Jean Michael Seri has officially signed with Fulham, the midfielder was linked to Borussia Dortmund in recent days but it looks like BVB’s interest was either not that strong or never actually existed. OGC Nice will receive 30€ million according to several outlets and Seri will sign a 4-year contract.
- Hakimi loan deal
Yesterday BVB announced the two-year loan deal of Achraf Hakimi who will join the black and yellows from Real Madrid. Dortmund did not secure an option to buy the young fullback, however BVB have a “matching-right” which means if any other club would make an offer for Hakimi, Dortmund could match it and secure the signing. Nevertheless if Real want to keep him themselves Dortmund still can’t do anything about it. The good news for Dortmund is that in two years Real Madrid will still have Dani Carvajal entering his prime and they just bought Alvaro Odriozola. Even if Hakimi develops into a solid starter BVB will still have chances to keep him.

Real have not granted the #BVB a option to buy Hakimi, but a “matching-right”. This means that the Borussen (- should Madrid want to sell Hakimi after expiration of the two-year loan -) may match every offer, in order to sign him.
- First friendly
Tomorrow BVB will play their first friendly of the pre-season against Austria Wien in Vienna. The game will be at 19.00h CEST and will be shown on Facebook, Youtube and bvbtotal.de. Some players are still missing like Reus, Weigl, Hakimi, Bürki, Delaney, Guerreiro, Akanji, Kagawa and Piszczek but it will still be very interesting to see how BVB will line-up and how newcomers like Diallo, Wolf and Hitz will fare.
