It has been rumored for weeks, now the transfer is finally official. Cristiano Ronaldo will join Juventus for around 117€ million (100€mil. fee+12€ mil. agent fees+5€ mil. solidarity contribution provided by FIFA regulations) and he will sign a 4-year deal that will pay him 30€ million per year.
This has obvious ramifications on the entire transfer market. Real Madrid will be on the lookout for a new superstar (or two) and will be probably be eager to break the transfer record. Meanwhile Juve might sell one of their high earners like Higuain or Mandzukic.
One example how that could have an effect on BVB is that Chelsea might sign Higuain which could mean they would be willing to part with either Batshuayi or Morata. As of right now this is of course just speculation but it doesn’t seem to far fetched. The new few weeks are definitely gonna be interesting.
