- Next young talent for BVB
It was quiet in recent months after a report from L’Equipe surfaced in April that suggested Kamal Bafounta would transfer to BVB. Now new reports emerged claiming the 16-year-old midfield prodigy from FC Nantes is on his way to Dortmund. Bafounta has supposedly verbally agreed to joining Borussia Dortmund and will travel to Dortmund this week to finalize the deal.

Andrey Yarmolenko didn’t exactly have a great first season at BVB which is why rumors have surfaced claiming Dortmund wouldn’t be opposed to selling the Ukrainian winger after just one season. fussball.com (referring to reports from English media) claim Everton would be interested in him if he were on the market. The Premier League club were battling BVB for him last summer and apparently their interest in him hasn’t diminished. However Yarmolenko wants to stay in Dortmund for now and start anew with a new coach.
- Marco Reus - Dortmunder Jung (Sport Bild)
We all know and appreciate about Reus’ loyalty to his childhood club. The club deemed him not good enough when he was a youth player but he came back after he developed at RW Aheln and Borussia Mönchengladbach and has since then extended his contract twice with BVB even though he had countless offers from other clubs.
According to Sport Bild one of the clubs that were interested in him this year before he decided to sign a new deal with BVB was Manchester City. Pep Guardiola was apparently a big fan of Reus and wanted to lure him to the Premier League. However even their offer which was hugher than what he currently earns at Dortmund which is at a reported 15€ million was not enough to get him to leave Dortmund.
