According to Bild 11 players could leave Dortmund this summer, either on loan or permanently. It’s a bit unrealistic to think that all of the mentioned players will leave but BVB is probably willing to listen to offers for them.

Dan-Axel Zagadou, Jacob Bruun Larsen and Alexander Isak could be loaned to another club to get some playing time but the final decision will be made after Lucien Favre gets a chance to take a look at them in training camp. The same goes for Dzenis Burnic who will return to BVB after a season on loan in Stuttgart.

Gonzalo Castro and Erik Durm are two players who are reportedly close to joining other clubs. Castro is said to be in negotiations with VfB Stuttgart while Bild claim Erik Durm is on his way to Huddersfield in the Premier League.

Andriy Yarmolenko, Sebastian Rode, and Jeremy Toljan are other players that could leave BVB if the right offer would come for them. The situation is a bit different for Marcel Schmelzer and Nuri Sahin, both could leave if there were any offers but both are still highly regarded because of their past with the club.

  • Nagelsmann joins RB Leipzig

For months BVB and Bayern supposedly fought to get Julian Nagelsmann as their new coach but Hoffenheim blocked any move. However next season they won’t be able to prevent Nagelsmann from leaving because of a release clause in his contract. As we all know both Dortmund and Bayern have already hired their coaches and that’s why RB Leipzig will profit from the situation and get him in 2019.
