Marco Reus has talked about BVB’s new coach Lucien Favre and he lauded the coach for their time together in Gladbach from 2010-2012.

Reus stated: “I’ve had a few club coaches and among them he’s probably the best I have experienced. Of course much time has passed since the 2010/11 season when we worked together in Gladbach. It was great to see back then how meticulous a coach could work. In the locker as well as on the pitch, he does everything himself and keep everything under control. I hope Lucien Favre still works the same way.”

Reus had his breakout season with Favre which ultimately led to the return to Dortmund. It’s a good sign that BVB’s star player seems to be full of praise for the next coach.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly in talks with Inter Milan about the possible transfer of left back Dalbert. After his breakout season in Nice with Favre as a coach he had a bit of a disappointing first season in Italy with only 14 appearances for the club. The Nerazzurri are willing to let him go but both clubs are said to be in disagreement about the terms of the deal. BVB would like to loan him with an option to buy but Inter prefers an “obligation to buy”-clause.

Another fullback linked to Dortmund, this time around it’s Pol Lirola from US Sassuolo. The young right back has been on BVB’s radar before this summer and could be the heir apparent to Lukasz Piszczek. Mundo Deportivo claims Dortmund are one of the interested clubs alongside Atletico Madrid and AS Monaco.
