80€ million, that’s the budget for BVB’s summer transfers if a report from Bild is to be believed. The outlet claims Borussia Dortmund are looking to add one striker, one central midfielder and three defenders for the upcoming season. In addition they claim Alvaro Morata could be in the mix for the vacant striker position. The Chelsea star had an up and down season in the Premier League and could look to move this summer.

  • Favre talks about possible BVB deal

Lucien Favre will probably BVB’s next coach even though his recent comments might indicate otherwise. Talking to Sport Bild about the rumors of his appointment with the black and yellows he replied “Those are just rumors and speculation. I’m focusing on my team here”. That does not sound promising but it could also be interpreted as the usual PR-speak that is applied in those situations.

Meanwhile another option could present itself for Dortmund as Ralph Hasenhüttl and RB Leipzig will probably split after this season according to several German outlets. If Favre does not join BVB, Hasenhüttl could be an intriguing option for Dortmund.

  • Lichtsteiner set to join BVB

According to Tuttosport Borussia Dortmund are close to agreeing a deal with Stephan Lichtsteiner. The 34-year-old right back from Juventus has an expiring deal which means BVB can sign him for free this summer. The Swiss international will reportedly sign a 2 year deal with Dortmund.
