  • Guerreiro refutes Sport Bild-report

Well this has already been a pretty interesting morning!

It all started with a report from Sport Bild which claimed there are still problems within the team. The outlet claims that even after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left some players would still show up late to training. In addition the club has reportedly problems with Dan-Axel Zagadou who has apparently missed a few of his courses to learn German and Raphael Guerreiro who ordered a few of the clubs employees to run private errands for him.

However Raphael Guerreiro has reacted to the accusations on twitter and refuted the accusations against Zagadou and himself.

  • Julian Brandt extends contract

Surprisingly Julian Brandt has extended his contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2021. The details aren’t clear just yet but it surely means his release clause that would have allowed him to leave this summer for relatively cheap is probably gone or significantly higher. The young winger was a rumored target for both BVB and Bayern who will have to look elsewhere now.

  • Champions League

The Champions League quartefinals started yesterday, Bayern Munich won 2-1 in Sevilla but the story of the day was Cristiano Ronaldo and his stunning goal in Real Madrid’s 3-0 victory against Juventus. You can see the goal here, a thanks to our friends at Managing Madrid.
