People often forget because of all the time he has missed due to injury, but Marco Reus is still pretty damn good.

He showed his talent once again today when he opened the scoring for Dortmund in their match at Werder Bremen. He hit this volley so well!

Reus was a bit fortunate that the ball bounced to him, but his fortune is the result of being in a smart position on the pitch. Then when it did fall to him, he made no mistake with that perfectly struck volley.

It looked for a second like the shot might have come off Christian Pulisic on its way into the net, but replays showed that was not the case. It’s Reus’ goal, and it’s his sixth of the Bundesliga season.

If BVB can hold on to the 1-0 lead that Marco gave them, then they’ll almost certainly have secured a spot in the Champions League next year.
