A lot is still uncertain for Borussia Dortmund ahead of next season. We don’t know who the manager will be and we don’t know which players will stay and which will go, but we do know what those who stay will be wearing on the pitch.
The most reliable kit-leakers in the game, FootyHeadlines, have today released leaked images of Dortmund’s home kit for next season. An official announcement won’t be made until the last week of this year’s Bundesliga campaign, but it’s a pretty safe bet that these are legit.
Dortmund’s home kits never vary too much from past editions. This kit is a simple and safe redesign, but sometimes that’s better than a kit manufacturer trying to go above and beyond to create something new. Why try and fix something that isn’t broken?
The shirt hasn’t changed too much, but the shorts and socks have gotten a bit of a makeover. Marco Reus was kind enough to model the new parts of the ensemble for us.
Note that the shirt Marco is wearing is not the home shirt being leaked.
The shorts and socks look snazzy, and should also look so when we get to see them in action for the last week of the Bundesliga season. This is solid work from PUMA.
You should act quickly if you’re still planning on buying a kit from this season. They’ll be gone before long, as this is the time of year when the old moves out to make way for the new.
