Shinji Kagawa returns to training
Good news can be hard to come by at times, so it needs to be savored whenever it pops up, no matter how little it is. So let’s enjoy the fact that Shinji Kagawa has recently returned to first-team training!
Kagawa hasn’t played for BVB since the 2-0 win over Hamburg on February 10th. Dortmund’s attack has sputtered at times in his absence. Even if he wouldn’t have started every game, it would’ve been nice to have him as another option at a time when Peter Stöger’s side lacked creativity on a few occasions.

Jurgen Klopp backs Mario Götze to return to form
We all know that Mario Götze is a quality player, but it’s true that he’s going through a bit of a slump right now. Jurgen Klopp spoke to Sky Germany (our friends at Bundesliga.com were nice enough to translate) and gave support to his old player.
He also confirmed that he wouldn’t be returning to Dortmund, but that’s not really surprising now is it? He’s got a pretty good thing going at Liverpool.
“Mario Götze isn’t a worse player now than when he was in his youth.”
“It wasn’t just his choice to go to Munich,” Klopp remembered. “His family wanted it, and Bayern obviously wanted him. It didn’t quite work out for him, but now he’s in top condition again. He just needs a bit of normality.”
“I don’t really want to go back to Dortmund because my time there was just too good,” he said.
”I had a world-class time in Mainz and Dortmund - maybe I’ll go back one day, but it doesn’t need to be as a coach.”
