A new day, a new report about BVB’s coaching dilemma. This time around Bild take their guess and they report that Peter Stöger is definitely out at the end of the season, especially after his recent comment to WDR when he said “My contract ends on June 30th - and that’s good.” The outlet claims Lucien Favre is the top candidate to replace the Austrian coach with Marco Rose also still in the mix.
However Borussia Dortmund have already denied the report. Asked about the report BVB’s media director Sascha Fligge “We always said Peter Stöger is the first person we’ll contact. Until now we didn’t even have a conversation about the future so there is no decision yet”.
Although BVB have denied it, I would be shocked if Stöger would stay at the club past this summer. This rather seems like they don’t want confirm anything just yet and just focus on qualifying on the Bundesliga right now although one could argue that the uncertainty is even worse for the club right now.
- Michy Batshuayi injury
Sadly Michy Batshuayi has played his last game for Borussia Dortmund (for now). While the club did not specify what kind of injury the striker sustained but he’ll miss the rest of the season and possibly the World Cup. A sad ending to Batshuayi’s BVB career if the black and yellow’s can’t agree to a permanent deal with Chelsea this summer. Get well soon Michy!
Well its not good news for now, my season is probably over, and i wont be able to pay @BVB back for their confidence ... Thank you all the amazing amount of love I received since yesterday. Wishing my teammates the best for the final days. See you soon ❤️ pic.twitter.com/GORkrFz9kk

- Jonas Hector rumors
BVB are looking for new fullbacks and have apparently found a new left back in Cologne. Jonas Hector, who has been rumored as a target for several months now, is close to joining BVB according to Kölner Stadtanzeiger. The German international was also linked to Bayern Munich but according to the report Hector has chosen Dortmund and will cost 8€ million.
Daily Buzz: Could Hector help with BVB’s woes at left back?
