- Owomoyela new BVB-ambassador
Borussia Dortmund have hired ex-BVB player Patrick Owomoyela as an ambassador to represent the club on international tours. Owomoyela will be responsible for the US. The former right back played 84 games (3 goals, 12 assists) for the club and won two Bundesliga titles and one DFB Cup with the black and yellows.

This might be a bit surprising but according to Diario Gol Florentino Perez would like to replace Gareth Bale this summer and Los Blancos are keeping an eye on the young American. The report claims Real Madrid are preparing an 80€ million offer for Pulisic.
Quite frankly I don’t see how Pulisic could replace Bale, at least for now. Pulisic is immensely talented and will (hopefully) develop into a world class player but he clearly isn’t there yet. For now he’s still just a very talented, young player who shows flashes but also makes mistakes. You could argue that he currently isn’t even a starter at BVB if everyone is healthy so a move to Real seems a bit premature at this point.
Here’s a bit of an odd rumor.
Simon Mignolet who is currently losing the battle for Liverpool’s nr.1 spot against Loris Karius, will probably look for another club this summer. The Belgian outlet La Dernière Heure goes ahead and mentions a few possible landing spots and BVB is among them.
Well this one does not really make a lot of sense. Dortmund are indeed linked to a lot of goalkeepers recently and will probably look to add someone this summer but Mignolet would be an odd choice. He’s not an obvious upgrade over Bürki and he’s already 30 years old so he wouldn’t offer
Daily Buzz: Pulisic to Real would honestly be a bit shocking. There’s a long list of players who moved to early and regretted it afterwards like Sahin, Kagawa, Götze and even Ousmane Dembélé isn’t exactly off to a great start. Would it be a good move for Pulisic?
Another question would be, does Dortmund actually need Pulisic with Reus healthy, Schürrle back in form, Philipp back and Yarmolenko and Sancho coming soon?
