- Austria vs BVB
Austria Wien are gonna re-open their stadium after some renovations and Borussia Dortmund has agreed to play the first friendly in the new stadium against the Austrian club. The game will be played on July 13th, two days before the World Cup final which means that some BVB players will definitely miss the game if they participate in the WC.

Marc Bartra’s transfer to Real Betis happened very quick which means the fans didn’t really have a chance to say goodbye to one of their favorite players. This Thursday before the home game against Salzburg, they will have the chance to give him the farewell he deserves.
“I’m absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to attend one of my old friends’ home games so soon after leaving the club, and to have the chance to say my goodbyes to the wonderful fans of Borussia Dortmund too,” said Marc Bartra, before adding: “Together we experienced a lot and came through a lot, so it is definitely going to be another very emotional moment on Thursday and it is one I am really looking forward to.”
- BVB and Bonaventura?
According to Rai Sport, Borussia Dortmund are interested in Giacomo Bonaventura. The 28-year-old midfielder from AC Milan could help with BVB’s midfield woes, in addition the current sporting and financial trouble of the Italian club could lead to them letting go of a few players.
So this does sound somewhat plausible until you realize that his agent is Mino Raiola. The infamous agent, who once reportedly flipped a table (literally) to get Mkhitaryan out of his contract, isn’t exactly popular around Dortmund. Furthermore Raiola likes to feed random rumors to outlets to get his clients name out there, this could be one of those instances.
