I don’t know about the rest of you, but “defensive solidity” is not what comes to mind when I think about Borussia Dortmund (Unless you’re talking about how Sokratis is literally as solid as a cinderblock). They’ve been leaking goals all season, and despite Peter Stöger’s reputation as a defense-first type of coach, BVB have looked shaky as ever.
It’s okay, though. The Bundesliga has a long history of hyping up “Der Klassiker” as a marketing gimmick, so this is to be expected.
Speaking of things to be expected, UEFA has failed to meet its already low standards by shutting down the investigation into racism accusations by Michy Batshuayi towards Atalanta. Here’s a link from the AP.
