Michael Zorc has extended his contract with the club through 2021 and will remain the sporting director of the black and yellows. Zorc has been with the club in various positions and has been continuously with the club since 1978(!). “Susi” (his nickname in Dortmund) still holds the record for most games for Borussia Dortmund with 463 appearances.

Borussia Dortmund and Bayern are seemingly fighting to sign the same coach, Ralph Hasenhüttl.
Both clubs are in need of a new coach for the upcoming season and the same names - Hasenhüttl, Favre, Nagelsmann, Kovac - are rumored to be the targets for both clubs. According to a Bild-report Leipzig would be willing to let their coach leave for 10€ million. The Austrian coach still has a contract with RBL until 2019 but he’s currently refusing to sign a new deal which might indicate that he would be interested to leave.
Every single one of the above mentioned coaches still have a contract for the upcoming season which makes it a bit more difficult for BVB and Bayern to sign one of them. Lucien Favre is the only one with an option that allows him leave his club this summer, Favre’s release clause is rumored to cost 3€ million.
- BVB scouting Hateboer
Dortmund are currently looking to upgrade both fullback positions and according to reports from Italy the black and yellows have scouted right back Hans Hateboer. The 24-year old is currently playing for Atalana Bergamo, he played 33 games this season scoring 2 goals and adding 6 assists. His good performances against BVB in the Europa League probably got Dortmund’s attention and the club is now trying to figure out if he could help at the right back position.
