The Daily Bee (March 23rd, 2018): International breaks are the worst

We miss the Bundesliga.

International Fixtures

The international break continues with quite a few fixtures today. The World Cup this summer should be fun, but friendlies are usually boring affairs, especially when Dortmund players aren’t involved.

Only a few members of BVB will be involved with their senior teams during this break, but there are quite a few playing youth football. Here’s a full list courtesy of our friend Stefan Buczko.

And finally, here’s a selection of the senior international fixtures taking place today. There are quite a few, but these are the most relevant.

  • Uruguay - Czech Republic
  • Japan - Mali
  • Russia - Brazil
  • Norway - Australia
  • Turkey - Republic of Ireland
  • Greece - Switzerland
  • Serbia - Morocco
  • Argentina - Italy
  • Germany - Spain (3:45 EST, 9:45 CET)
  • Netherlands - England
  • Poland - Nigeria
  • France - Colombia
  • Mexico - Iceland

Congratulations to Lukasz Piszczek!

All the best to Pisz and his newborn baby! It’s his third child. Lukasz is one of Dortmund’s longest tenured players, having joined in 2010. He always comes across as a great guy. Congrats to him and his family!
