According to Ruhr Nachrichten and Racing Club de Avellaneda’s president Victor Blanco, who commented on the matter toward La Oral Deportiva, Borussia Dortmund made an official offer for Lautaro Martinez but the club and player have already agreed to a deal with Inter Milan.

Dortmund’s offer is said to be significantly higher - 32.5€ million opposed to 20€ million + 2€ million in bonuses from Inter - but since the deal is already agreed upon there isn’t much BVB can do anymore. Blanco confirmed “It is only a matter of time, the club will keep it’s word”.

It sounds like the black and yellows have missed out on Martinez unless they get Racing to break their agreement with Inter which would probably end in a mess.

  • 10 players on international duty

13 players have been nominated by their national teams for the upcoming international break but only 10 players have actually agreed to join their teams. Ömer Toprak, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Andriy Yarmolenko have declined nominations and will stay in Dortmund to rehab their injuries.

In addition Christian Pulisic and Shinji Kagawa haven’t been nominated because they wanted to stay with the team to prepare for the extremely important games coming up.

The players on international duty are: Mo Dahoud (Germany U21), Lukasz Piszczek (Poland), Manuel Akanji and Roman Bürki (both Switzerland), Raphael Guerreiro (Portugal), Sergio Gomez (Spain U19), Michy Batshuayi (Belgium), Alexander Isak (Sweden), Sokratis (Greece) and Jadon Sancho (England U19).

Daily Buzz: Germany have revealed their new away-kit and it’s a throwback to their jersey’s from the 80s. Yay or nay?
