Borussia Dortmund will make two separate trips to the United States this summer in an attempt to build their fanbase. The club already announced that they will play a friendly against newly created MLS-club LAFC in their new Banc of California Stadium, the game will reportedly be played on May 21st or 22nd.
In addition the club will return to the US after the WC where they will play three more friendlies one of them possibly against Manchester City. This time around the black and yellows will visit the east coast.
Borussia Dortmund are continuously linked with goalkeepers to compete with Roman Bürki for the starting spot next season. After Kevin Trapp (PSG) and Timo Horn (Köln) you can add Lukas Hradecky to the list of possible competitors. Eintracht Frankfurt’s starting goalkeeper has an expiring contract at the end of the season which would make the 28-year-old a bargain for Dortmund. The Finnish international is rarely mentioned as a top goalkeeper but he has vastly improved over the past few seasons to become one of the Bundesliga’s best at his position.
