  • Fan Violence leads to the death of a Police officer

Violent rioting between fans of Athletic Bilbao and Spartak Moscow lead to the death of a Bilbao Police officer on Thursday. The police officer is reported to have had a heart attack during the clashes. While that is not direct its quite obvious it probably would not have happened in a less dire situation. Fan violence continues to be a major topic of discussion as we head to the 2018 World Cup. With Russia now at the center of another incident concerning fan violence many are concerned the World Cup may not be safe for away fans.

  • Europa League Victory

Yesterdays victory was a great yet ugly win for BVB. To keep you going through your day here is a great video of fans celebrating after the game.
