  • Nuri Sahin is “Addicted to BVB” (LINK)

In an interview with Deutsche Welle, Nuri Sahin opened up about his past with Borussia Dortmund. He explained that BVB has always been the first club in his heart. Even when he was Real Madrid, he could only think of returning to Borussia Dortmund. He even said he wants to coach one day!

(As long as he doesn’t take more playing time from Weigl...)

  • Peter Stöger is glad that Aubameyang has moved on (LINK)

In an interview with Bild, Dortmund’s boss said that he’s glad that the circus surrounding Aubameyang’s departure is over, because it occupied such a heavy amount of public space. He also says, though, that for the most part, Aubameyang was professional until he left, only skipping one team meeting.

  • Dortmund never intended to buy Batshuayi (LINK)

BVB Sporting Director Michael Zorc said that BVB never had the intention to buy Michy Batshuayi, because they weren’t willing to dish out so much money under the “pressure” of the winter market.
