Ex-BVB goalkeeper Alexander Bade has joined Borussia Dortmund as an assistant coach. He will work closely with Peter Stöger, he was already part of Stöger’s coaching team in Köln from 2013-2017.
- Ex-BVB players get coaching licence
Three former Dortmund players, Sebastian Kehl, Patrick Owomoyela and Christoph Metzelder, have gotten their coaching licence which will allow them to work as a coach in the Bundesliga. We all know Dortmund’s coaching situation beyond this summer isn’t exactly clear so you can expect those three to be named as possible coaches for Dortmund this summer even though it doesn’t seem likely that Dortmund would go with a rookie-coach going forward.
Geschafft!

- Akanji or Bats?
Both newly acquired players put BVB in an awkward spot for their Europa League campaign because they can only nominate one for their squad. UEFA rules state that a club can only introduce one new transfer into their squad for a UEFA competition during the winter transfer window. This means Dortmund have to choose between Akanji or Batshuayi which isn’t really an easy choice because BVB could really use both players. Which one should they include in the squad?
- Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Daily Buzz: Michy Batshuayi is Dortmund’s new striker and he’s not just a good player but he also has a pretty good twitter account that you should follow. While we all know the best football twitter account is @fearthewall, what other football account do you follow?
