After weeks of rumors a transfer of Brazilian winger Pedrinho to Borussia Dortmund seems to become a reality. Globo Esporte claims the 20-year old has agreed to join the black and yellows during the winter transfer window and if the deal happens will sign a 4-year deal. The last step for Dortmund will be the negotiations with Corinthians, according to the report BVB will make an official offer in the coming week.
It’s hard to see what BVB’s plans with Pedrinho are exactly, Pedrinho was reportedly on the radar of many European clubs and Dortmund would add to their impressive group of young talents. But the main question will obviously be if he’s a potential replacement for Pulisic or if this transfer has absolutely nothing to do with the fate of the young American.
UPDATE: During today’s press conference Michael Zorc was asked about Pedrinho and a possible transfer, Zorc said he knows about the player but denied a transfer: “There’s nothing to it”.
