- DFB Cup draw
Borussia Dortmund have drawn Werder Bremen at home which is an ok draw especially because it’s a home game. Bremen are a solid young team with a very good coach in Kohfeldt, BVB will have to play their best football if they want to advance.
Bayern Munich got a tough draw with Hertha BSC Berlin who have defeated Bayern 2:0 on matchday 6 already. RB Leipzig vs Wolfsburg and Schalke vs Düsseldorf are also two very interesting Bundesliga draws.

- Godin and Costa doubtful for BVB clash
Borussia Dortmund will start their tough week with an away game at Atletico Madrid with some players still injured or doubtful like Schmelzer, Diallo (both definitely out), Kagawa (didn’t travel with the team) and Piszczek (doubtful).
However Dortmund are not the only team with injury concerns, Diego Simeone will possibly have to plan without Diego Godin and Diego Costa.

- Matchday recap
Matchday 10 is concluded and BVB have increased their lead to 4 points because of Bayern’s surprising home draw against SC Freiburg. Borussia Mönchengladbach have moved to second place with their victory over Fortuna Düsseldorf.
RB Leipzig are currently in impressive form, defeating Hertha 3:0 in Berlin and moving into 4th place. Eintracht Frankfurt and Werder Bremen round out the top 6.
Meanwhile Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Hannover stay at the bottom of the table and have already lost some ground on 15th place. This is very concerning for Stuttgat who have already changed coaches but the appointment of Markus Weinzierl has so far been a disaster, losing three out of three games and scoring 0 goals.
