  • Europa League results

The German clubs did well in the Europa League, completing a pretty good week for the Bundesliga in Europe.

Eintracht Frankfurt clobbered Lazio 4-1, Bayer Leverkusen came back from an early deficit to win 4-2 against Larnaka and RB Leipzig had no problems in their 3-1 win against Rosenborg Trondheim.

Other notable results are FC Sevilla surprisingly losing 1-2 against FK Krasnodar, Arsenal winning 3-0 against Qarabag, Milan defeating Olympiacos 3-1 and Chelsea with a slim 1-0 victory over Vidi FC.

  • English talent increasingly coming to the Bundesliga?

Jadon Sancho’s path is somewhat unusual and has started a discussion in England about young talents going to other leagues. The Times had an interesting article about Jadon Sancho and the topic.

  • Hannes Wolf commenting on BVB

Hannes Wolf, the player from RB Salzburg not to be confused with the former BVBII coach, has commented on his admiration for BVB. This is obviously just a meaningless comment, however Wolf is a very interesting talent who could be a target for Dortmund in the future and he seems to be willing to play in black and yellow.

Borussia Dortmund’s captain has commented on playing with the youngsters like Jadon Sancho and Jacob Bruun Larsen right now. It’s a very interesting interview from Reus who enjoys playing alongside the young wingers and has also commented on his role as a “10” and if he would like to play there for Germany as well.

  • Reus part of Germany squad

Marco Reus has been nominated for Germany’s squad for the upcoming games against France and the Netherlands. Not much has changed in Löw’s squad expect for the (questionable) decision to include Mark Uth from Schalke. It’s also surprising that Philipp Max from FC Augsburg does not get a chance at left back, a position of weakness for Germany.

Daily Buzz: Dortmund will host Augsburg on Saturday, a tricky match for BVB. Augsburg showed their quality when they drew Bayern last week. Pulisic, Kagawa, Toprak and Schmelzer will still be out for the game.

How should BVB line-up and what’s your score prediction?
