Borussia Dortmund had great success recruiting young players and developing them like Pulisic, Sancho and Bruun Larsen. Now they are looking to add the next promising youngster to their team.

There are already a few BVB youth players who look promising for the coming years but Dortmund are interested to add Ilaix Moriba to the mix. The central midfielder is one of La Masia’s most promising young players and will turn 16 in January which means he will be able to sign his first pro-contract. As of right now he hasn’t signed with Barcelona which indicates he could leave and according to Sport Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City have both already made offers.

It remains to be seen if BVB’s advances are successful but their track record with talented players certainly helps.

  • Europa League results

The German teams did fairly well in the Europa League. Eintracht Frankfurt won their third consecutive game, 2:0 against Limassol and have all but secured their place in the knockout stage. RB Leipzig also won 2:0 against Celtic Glasgow and are in a solid position to advance. The only worrying team are Bayer Leverkusen who lost 2:3 to Zürich and are now three points behind the Swiss team. The Werkself had a bad start to the season and if they can’t turn it around Heiko Herrlich might not be around much longer.

Other notable results: Arsenal kept their winning streak alive with a 1:0 win over Sporting, Milan lost 1:2 to Betis Seville, Marseille lost 1:3 to Lazio and Chelsea defeated BATE 3:1.

Daily Buzz: Dortmund’s spirits are still high after the 4:0 against Atletico but the next challenge awaits with Hertha BSC Berlin in the Bundesliga. What line-up do you want to see and what’s your prediction?
