Our friends at bavarianfootballworks have an article stating Bayern Munich could have signed Jadon Sancho in 2017 (original story from Sport Bild). However the Bavarians decided against signing Sancho even though Pep Guardiola recommended signing the youngster. BVB swooped in and got Sancho for 8€ million in the end, a fantastic deal considering how he turned out.
- BVB turned down Stuttgart offer for Bruun Larsen
Michael Zorc turned down a 12€ million offer from VfB Stuttgart for Jacob Bruun Larsen, Suttgart’s sporting director confirmed in an interview with Bild. Borussia Dortmund was not willing to listen to offers for the talented young winger, especially after his pre-season performances with the club. Bruun Larsen was on loan in Stuttgart last season but only played in 4 games for the club.
#VfB board member Michael #Reschke (61) on @jacobruunlarsen: "We offered #Dortmund €12m and were therefore prepared to pay the highest transfer fee in the club's history for Jacob. But Michael #Zorc was not willing to talk and categorically ruled out to sell him." [Bild] #bvb pic.twitter.com/uD7dIQ51dd

Daily Buzz: Manuel Akanji will be out for at least three weeks, a huge blow for Dortmund. With him and Schmelzer being out which backline formation would you prefer? Guerreiro or Diallo at left back, which pair of CB’s out of Diallo, Zagadou and Toprak and who should start at RB, Hakimi or Piszczek?
