  • BVB 4:0 Alemannia Aachen

Borussia Dortmund have won their friendly 4:0 against Regionalliga side Alemannia Aachen. Domenik Wanner, Beyhan Ametov, Mario Götze and Maximilian Philipp scored for the black and yellows who were without 18 players because of international duty or injuries. This meant a lot of youth players got a chance to shine and some of them did. However Lucien Favre wasn’t there to take a look at them, he missed with health problems.

  • BVB interested in Piatek

This rumor just keeps hanging around. According to Corriere dello Sport Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has confirmed that BVB is one of the club interested in Krzysztof Piatek. The 23-year-old striker is arguably the only centre forward in Europe who has a better streak than Paco Alcacer right now, scoring 13 goals in just 8 games for the Serie A club. Adding Piatek would be great for BVB and give them an excellent situation at striker, however it is doubtful Dortmund would add another starting caliber striker if Alcacer continues to score.

  • Alcacer scores for Spain

Speaking of Paco Alcacer’s scoring streak, it continued when he scored for Spain in their 2:3 loss to England. Alcacer has now scored 10 goals on just 10 shots on target this season for Borussia Dortmund and Spain which is just an unreal stat.

Daily Buzz: What do you think of BVB’s red jerseys? It’s Dortmund’s third kit so we rarely get to see them in action.
