  • Jeremy Toljan fo USMNT?

Well this is an interesting idea. Jeremy Toljan is still eligible to play for the USMNT which leads the official Bundesliga site to speculate about a possible switch from the fullback from Germany to the USA. While this seems unlikely right now, Toljan won the UEFA U-21 European Championship title last summer and could be the answer for what is arguably Germany’s biggest weakness. However if he doesn’t get called up soon a change of mind could happen, US-fans would certainly approve.

  • Bartra to Betis rumors

According to several reports from Spain (Mundo Deportivo, Marca), BVB centerback Marc Bartra is close to a transfer to Real Betis. Betis who are currently in 13th place in the Primera Division are reportedly loaning the defender until the end of the season and will have an obligation to buy Bartra afterwards. Bartra has fallen behind Ömer Toprak, Sokratis and probably also Manuel Akanji in the pecking order.

  • Yarmolenko injured

Andriy Yarmolenko will miss several weeks with a tendon-injury in his foot. The club did not disclose any precise schedule for his return. The 28-year-old winger hasn’t been in good shape recently, losing his starting spot to BVB’s teenagers, Christian Pulisic and Jadon Sancho. Nevertheless this is yet another blow to Dortmund which leaves them thin at the winger spot.
