The Daily Bee (January 25th, 2018): Bayern won’t hire Nagelsmann

Neven Subotic is reportedly close to a transfer to French Ligue 1 club AS St. Etienne. According to several reports from French outlets Subotic is already in France for his medical and final negotiations. Borussia Dortmund will let him go on a free transfer, Subotic’s contract was expiring at the end of the season.

Subotic joined the black and yellows in 2008 and has won 2 Bundesliga titles and 2 DFB Cups with the club. However he has fallen out of the rotation at centerback, playing only 5 games this season. The arrival of Manuel Akanji has probably

  • Nagelsmann not joining Bayern?

According to a Bild-report Bayern Munich will not hire Julian Nagelsmann. The Bavarians deem Nagelsmann too young and inexperienced for the job and are currently trying to convince Jupp Heynckes to stay on for one more season. Surprisingly the report also claims ex-BVB coach Thomas Tuchel will be the favorite for the job if Heynckes decides to retire. If the report is to be believed, a Nagelsmann-move to Dortmund would appear to be a lot more likely.

Youth goalkeeper has completed a move to Belgian side SV Zulte Waregem. The 19-year-old was given permission to leave. Bansen will try to get his first professional games in Belgium, he probably wouldn’t have had that chance at Dortmund.
