Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been suspended for today’s home game against VfL Wolfsburg because of “disciplinary reasons”. The club announced the suspension in a twitter post without giving any further explanations on the reason why the star striker has to sit out the game or how long the suspension will last.

This is not the first time the Gabon international had problems in Dortmund. In the first half of the season he already missed a game against VfB Stuttgart because of a suspension. In an interview before the winter break Michael Zorc commented on the situation, saying that Aubameyang had problems with punctuality, generally showing up late to practice or team-meetings.
According to Bild this has also been the reason this time around, the striker reportedly missed a meeting yesterday which led to his suspension.
UPDATE: Peter Stöger has confirmed during an interview with Sky before the game that a missed team-meeting is the reason for the suspension.
