- Barcelona sign Yerry Mina
Barcelona have officially signed Yerry Mina who was rumored to be a BVB-target this January. The 23-year-old centerback will cost 11.5€ million and will sign a contract that runs through 2023. Barcelona have now spent over 320€ million this season and that doesn’t even include the bonuses for the Dembélé and Coutinho transfers.
- Akanji-update
Manuel Akanji has been the most discussed name when it come to BVB-targets this transfer window but it seems unlikely that Dortmund will make any signings in January. According to Andrea Böni from Swiss outlet Blick the black and yellows are not willing to pay 20€ million for the young centerback and will only bid 15€ million. Meanwhile several Premier League sides are also interested to sign the 22-year-old with West Ham apparently ready to offer 18€ million. Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are also reportedly in the mix, however according to Böni the player prefers Dortmund.
