Good morning, Fear the Wall!

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been interviewed quite a bit during the past couple weeks, and he’s had some interesting things to say.

  • In an interview with RMC (LINK), Auba spoke about the departure of his good friend and former teammate Ousmane Dembélé. When asked about Dembélé’s chances at Dortmund, he said this: (translated)

It won’t be easy, but I know [Dembélé], I know that he’s someone who adapts very quickly. He adapted well to Dortmund’s style of play. I think it will work for him, he’s a young man with a lot of talent.

He also mentioned Dembélé’s rift with the club:

I understand what he did, because he had an agreement with the club. Although, it may have been too soon. He’s my pal, though, and I don’t want to attack him. I’m happy for him.

In another interview with FourFourTwo (LINK), he talked about Real Madrid, and how he no longer dreams of playing for them:

I have no dream. I shall no longer speak of Madrid. They don't want me. This is not a problem. I move on. I am well in Dortmund.

  • Opel is at it again:

Translation: The @ BVB stars can keep the ball. The sound too? Not important, because you do not hear. Now guess the song.
